Rural Access Programme provided access to goods and services to poor households including creation of local employment through construction of environment friendly district roads adopting labour based methods, plus many support income generating activities for enhancement of livelihoods of project affected households. Besides labour-based methods, small equipment were also introduced in RAP-3.
In Kalikot, New Road Construction Supervision and Stage 2 Survey and Design in Kalikot District for implementation of Sanighat-Phukot-Syuna-Shipkhana (17.640 Km), Jarkot-Ramnakot (5.930 Km) total length 23.5 kilometers was taken up from RAP assistance.
